Today we mainly introduce the four common particles in daily life. What you need to understand is that the particles in the air are not only the four diameters: PM50, PM10, PM2.5, PM0.1, these four particles will be different. Where can I reach the body? Do you really want to know?
First type: PM50
The PM50 micrometer is visible to the naked eye. It enters your nasal cavity through breathing, but because it is too big to enter, because the nose hair in our nasal cavity looks a lot of dense, but it is useless, it can block particles above PM75. , But can't stop PM50. What can block PM50 is the cilia of nasal anvil cells, which are invisible to the naked eye and very dense. Moreover, the slaughter fluid secreted by the retinal membrane cells in the nasal cavity can also stick PM50, so that they can not move forward. When it sticks to a certain degree, that is when we want to dig the booger, we want to snot and dig the booger, but don’t dig in public, the public may not look good, let’s not like the German coach Husband dug and ate... let me vomit for a while~~~~
The second kind: PM10
PM10 can reach the throat, and fine particles below PM10 are called "inhalable particles." The throat is the terminal of PM10 (this is where it should get off, hum~~~), and the secreted fluid secreted by the pleural membrane cells on the surface of the throat will stick to them, and each anvil membrane cell has 200 cilia (also naked) (Invisible), swinging up non-stop, just like rowing a dragon boat against the water. Our natural physiological function is to prevent PM10 from continuing to descend.
PMIO accumulates in the upper airway where the throat is located. The more accumulated, the more anal fluid secreted. To a certain extent, we want to spit. Therefore, the sputum should be spit, don't swallow, it is harmful to swallow (I have been sickened by myself since I wrote this)
The third kind: PM2.5 (our superstar debut)
PM2.5 can reach the alveoli. Fine particles below PM2.5 cannot be blocked by the upper airway, and they can descend smoothly into the bronchiole and alveoli. Our respiratory system is like the root system of a plant. From top to bottom, the trachea divides the bronchi, and the bronchus divides the dense bronchiole. The dense bronchiole is connected to the dense alveoli. The inhaled oxygen eventually enters the alveoli, then enters the capillaries through the walls of the alveoli, and then enters the entire blood circulation system. The PM2.5 we sucked in, because it is too small, can also enter the alveoli, and then enter the capillaries through the wall of the alveoli, and then enter the entire blood circulation system.
PM2.5 carries many harmful organic and inorganic molecules and is the source of disease. Bacteria are a well-known source of disease. PM2.5 is comparable to bacteria.
PM2.5 is a fine particle with a diameter of 2.5 microns, bacteria is micron-level organisms, the size is mostly 1 micron, a few microns, there are also dozens of microns. In other words, PM2.5 and bacteria are generally large.
Bacteria enter the blood, and the macrophages (a type of immune cells) in the blood come over immediately to swallow it, and it cannot cause human illness, which is like a tiger eating chicken.
PM2.5 entered the blood, and the macrophages in the blood thought it was a bacterium, and came over immediately to swallow it. Macrophages have engulfed bacteria. Bacteria are alive and are the food of macrophages. However, PM2.5 is inanimate, macrophages swallow it, just like a tiger swallowed a stone, and eventually choked to death, then our immunity has dropped.
Not only that, the choked macrophages release a substance that can cause inflammation of cells and tissues. It can be seen that PM2.5 is more pathogenic than bacteria. The more PM2.5 that gets into the blood, the easier we get sick.
The third kind: PM0.1
PM0.1 is the immune system that can reach the human body, which means that the equivalent particle size is less than 0.1μm. PM0.1 is the diameter of nano-scale ultrafine particles (less than 100 nanometers), far smaller than the standard PM2.5 and PM10, PM0.1 is the main component of air particles, PM0.1 particles of metal elements such as manganese, lead, titanium, vanadium, etc. Enter the body through the respiratory tract, thereby destroying the body's immune system, circulatory system and reproductive system. PM0.1 ultrafine particles are easy to enter the alveoli, blood, nervous system, etc. Some studies have shown that it is related to the occurrence of leukemia and cardiovascular diseases.
